Evolution of blister: Patient OAF: Photograph taken November 7, 1987, after the Goiania incident (PDF - 6,560 KB). Central skin was excised. A raw reddish surface is covered with a delicate layer of fibrinous exudate. Wound is healing from the circumference inward, and re-epithelialization is occurring.
